Covid-19, the corona virus, has the world firmly under control and continues to massively restrict production, trade, fairs and events. Nevertheless, preparations for the Spoga Horse Autumn are continuing and the organizers are venturing a first look at the trade fair in September.

The team of Koelnmesse is certain that trade fairs will contribute to the revival of companies in the period after the virus-induced crisis. And: They can already announce a good start of registered companies for Spoga Horse Autumn, which will take place from the 6th to the 8th of September 2020. Exhibitors such as Albert Kerbl, Amahorse, Animo, Bucas, Cavalleria Toscana, De Niro Boots, Ekkia, HKM, Horseware, Kingsland, KEP, Laguso, Montar, Passier, Prestige, Pikeur, Samshield, Schockemöhle Sports, Shires Equestrian, Spooks, Vestrum, Vale Brothers and Waldhausen have already booked and confirmed their stands at the fair.

Spoga Horse Award

In addition to sales promotion, the Spoga Horse Award is also traditionally part of the trade fair’s program. equitrends International and the Koelnmesse have already been awarding this prize to the best innovations for 20 years by now. Companies can apply until in the categories innovation, sustainability & corporate social responsibility (CSR) as well as sales concepts. The independent jury will take a look at all the products and ideas submitted in advance and then nominate their favorites. Once nominated, the products and concepts will be given their own exhibition area at the fair. There and in the live pitch, trade fair visitors will also have the opportunity to learn more about the products and ideas and get their opportunity to vote. This is how the expert jury and trade visitors choose their favorites, which will receive the Spoga Horse Award on the last day of the fair. The deadline for all applications is the 13th of July 2020. We will inform you immediately once applications can be handed in. This should be the case at the end of April.

Planning certainty – in good time

Although planning is currently ongoing, the team of Koelnmesse is constantly monitoring and assessing the situation in order to provide planning security for all parties involved. Should the trade fair be postponed or cancelled, the organizers assure that the money for all visitor tickets will be refunded. Exhibitors who do not want to or cannot participate on a potential alternative date will also receive a refund of the conducted payments. For the time being, the organizers remain confident and promise to inform exhibitors and visitors in good time if they tend to a cancellation or towards choosing an alternative date.
